Day 34 - 4/11/2007

The Senate passed its amended version of the FY 07 Supplemental Budget,  HB 94,  today and appointed conference committee members.   The conference committee then met with evening.  After a long and contentious meeting, House and Senate Budget conferees have reportedly reached a compromise tonight on the FY 07 Supplemental budget.  The budget will fund $1 million for PeachCare and will also provide funds for schools, public defenders and tornado relief.
