Free Training from the Jane Fonda Center at Emory University

By the time teens reach age 18, they will have been exposed to 500,000 sexual messages in the media.  The Jane Fonda Center at Emory University wants to help youth and parents in Georgia "get the rap" on the media.  On April 22, 2008 at the Jane Fonda Center, they are hosting a free half-day training on “Media Madness: An Educational Series for Parents”.  The training will provide you with the knowledge and skills to help PARENTS reduce the negative influence that over-exposure to sexual messages in the media has on their children's sexual attitudes and behaviors.   For more information contact Marian Apomah at (404) 712-8730 or mapomah@emory.edu.
