The Governor signed the Water plan into law today.  The House and Senate had busy floor and committee schedules as well. 
 
This afternoon, the House Judiciary Subcommittee chaired by Representative Lindsey took up HB 1040 which would Juvenile Court judges to appoint permanent guardians of children and adolescents without terminating parental rights.  The committee gave HB 14040 a “do pass” recommendation.
