Tuesday, February 6, 2007
House Judiciary - CIVIL will meet at 2:00pm in room 132 CAP.  The agenda includes HB156 - Department of Human Resources; child support collections fees; authoriz and HB158 - Parent and child; legitimation; clarify methods; change provision.


Subcommittee One (Lindsey subcommittee) of the House Judiciary (Civil) Committee will meet 15 minutes after the full Judiciary meeting
(which begins at 2:00 p.m.) in Room 132 CAP. Agenda will include HB153 - Juveniles; Division of Family and Children Services; provide certain requirement Juveniles, DFACS, provide certain requirements (Loudermilk)


The Non-Civil Judiciary Committee is meeting at 3:00 p.m
. in Room 506 CLOB.

Senate Appropriations - Human Development Committee will meet at 12:00 PM in room 450 CAP. The Agenda will include a Review of the FY07 Amended Budget for the following agencies: Department of Veterans' Services; Department of Labor; Department of Human Resources; and DHR's Itemized Federal Funds spending plan for the remainder of the fiscal year.

The House Appropriations Education Subcommittee will meet in Room 515 of the Coverdell Office Building at 2:00 p.m.   Agenda includes Pre-K; Marcia Moore Review Wait List and Budget; and John Brown Discuss History and Funding of Public School Pre-K & Privately Provided Pre-K.

 

The Senate Appropriations - Judicial Subcommittee is meeting at 3:00 pm in Room 307 CLOB.  The Agenda includes a Review of FY2007 Amended and FY2008 General Budgets for various agencies including Juvenile Courts and Public Defenders.

 

Thursday, February 8, 2007 
The Appropriations Public Safety Subcommittee will meet  in Room 515 of the Coverdell Office Building at 1:00 p.mThe 08 budgets for Juvenile Justice and Defense, among others, will be discussed.

House Appropriations and Education Committees will have a joint meeting in Room 406 of the Coverdell Office Building at 2:00 p.m. to discuss K-12 and John Brown State Per Student Funding Formula (QBE) History & Funding.
