Healthy Steps
With support from the Healthcare Georgia Foundation, Voices created a simple, easily-understood way to measure children's health across the state and communicate policy implications related to children's health. The Healthy Steps Indicators outline key milestones that provide state leaders and policy makers with an annual progress report on the health of Georgia's children. These milestones can be measured as children move through the different states of development.

JUSTGeorgia
JUSTGeorgia is a state-wide coalition advocating a stronger model of justice and safety for our children that balances with the best interests of our community. The three lead partners of JUSTGeorgia are Voices, the Barton Child Law and Policy Clinic at Emory University , and Georgia Appleseed . All three are working together to build a statewide coalition of groups and individuals having a stake in the juvenile justice system. At the core of the partnership is a commitment to passage of a revised Juvenile Code as well as continued monitoring of its implementation . Accompanying the legislation are reports summarizing the strengths and weaknesses of the current Code and making practical and realistic recommendations for fixing it.
JUSTGeorgia wants accelerated change in the status quo for deprived and delinquent kids through adoption of modernized state laws and child-serving systems that offer a better chance for prevention, intervention, and/or rehabilitation.
