Employability is one of 5 result areas driving Voices’ agenda for children in Georgia. In each result area Voices has set an objective to be accomplished by 2015.

Put Kids on Your Radar

Voices’ Goal is to reduce the percent of adolescents not in school and not working, to 8% from our current 11%, by 2015.  The gateway from adolescence to adulthood is a crucial time for youth.  When teens get lost in the transition from school to work, they are more likely to become dependent on welfare, or even illegal activities, to make money to support their new independence.
