Report: Make Georgia's Pre-K Truly Universal

Georgia's pre-K program that once led the nation as the first universally available education program for the state's four-year-olds has fallen behind according to a new report issued today by the Southern Education Foundation.

"Time To Lead Again: The Promise of Georgia's Pre-K" outlines the program's current state and argues the merits of renewed investment with economic and historical data.  In short, the educational and economic benefits provide a return on the investment, using unrestricted lottery reserve funds.
